We racked our brains for years and finally found the optimal construction method. For example, we can save on air conditioning and excessive heating. When you open the window in summer, you can feel the pleasant mountain air, with a refreshing breeze from the Ahrntal valley. We don’t automatically put out the plastic-wrapped bathing slippers. With their rubber soles and lots of plastic, they are often just rubbish. Because many guests have their own slippers with them. And if these disposable slippers are even taken out of the bag “just to look at”, we have to dispose of them directly. A regulation. That’s why you only get the slippers on request. We have refillable soap dispensers in the rooms to avoid small packaging units. We do not use individually packaged cotton pads or files. When it comes to food, we pay attention to regional products and that we avoid waste. The bread is made by our aunt Liesl and her sons at the nearby Gatterer bakery. Sausage, meat and cheese come from regional suppliers as far as possible. This is not possible with all foods, but if we can save on delivery routes and thus reduce the burden on the environment, we always do so. We even grow herbs ourselves and use them in the kitchen and in our bar.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
